Unsure of your bike pic?

Below are some hints and tips for your pictures

We realize that many of you are not experienced photographers, so below are a few hints that will help your bike get featured:

  • Please get your bike out of your driveway, unless of course you have a long scenic driveway.  The background and setting are important.  Not that we want the background to stand out, but if you have a picture of your bike sitting in front of a wrecked '77 Honda with a dumpster behind it, these can be distractions.
  • Lighting is important also.  Try taking a picture at sunrise or sunset when the lighting is softest.  The middle of the day is not a good time to take photographs due to the harsh reflections and shadows.
  • Be unique.  Try something new like an action shot or a different angle or setting.

We hope these hints and tips help you get the shot that gets noticed.

Thank you for submitting your picture!
